Rocca di Cambio is a little mountain village placed on the foots of Monte Cagno in the extreme north side of the Altipiano delle Rocche. A wonderful landscape made of wide spaces framed by the majestic Gran Sasso that overlooks the valley and from the mountain chain Sirente –Velino at the other side. The plateau, with-colored in winter and verdant at summer and spring time with its silences with the nature noises give you the conveys of deep serenity and peace. Thank to the love for their land of the inhabitants and to the guardianship of the Natural Park Velino - Sirente, these places sure remain in visitors’ minds and hearts because of their unpolluted nature. A true paradise for skiing lovers is Campo Felice, the famous ski area that’s only 1 km far away from the Aurora Resort. From December to April modern and state-of-the-art lifts serve 30 kilometres of perfectly snow-covered slopes offering the opportunity to enjoy many slopes and different landscapes. In summer time the resort offers a large range of opportunities, such as trekking, Nordic Walking, cycling, riding on the many track and paths, all signed by the CAI groups and by the guides of the Natural Park. The tourist office of Rocca di Cambio proposes a rich program of activities, guided excursion, games and special entertainment for children, events, concerts and entertainment during summer time.
